See Every Incredible Detail of Amrit Kapai & Nicholas Kouchoukos' Lavish Wedding
The Family Karma couple's wedding weekend included "unbelievable decor," gorgeous food, and, of course, showstopping fashion.
Shortly after viewers watched Amrit Kapai propose to Nicholas Kouchoukos on the July 2021 Season 2 finale of Family Karma, Amrit was excited to share his big ideas for their wedding.
"It is going to be multiple days!" he revealed in a July 2021 interview with GLAAD. "I am sort of envisioning a first-day welcome dinner. The second day is what is called the Mehndi, which traditionally in India is when the bride wears henna on her arms...but since we don't have a bride, I want our moms to be the focal point and throw them some big lavish party."
"We will also do a big dance party," he continued. "Then we have to talk about the ceremony...do we want to do it traditional? A church ceremony or a Hindu ceremony? There is a lot that we have to figure out."
Just over a year later, Amrit and Nicholas' wedding dreams came to life during an incredible multi-day affair at The Hotel at Avalon in Alpharetta, Georgia. Of course, the Family Karma cast members brought their fashion A-game. The grooms’ stunning Mehndi, ceremony, and reception outfits were made by Rivesse by Ishan Sanghvi, while their Sangeet outfits were by Nazranaa.
For the ceremony, Bali Chainani, Anisha Ramakrishna, Amrit, and Nicholas wore coordinated looks in gorgeous shades of mint and emerald. "This color [palette] is a [chef's] kiss," Bali wrote on Instagram. Vishal Parvani and Richa Sadana stunned in powder blue looks, while Monica Vaswani opted for a vibrant pink outfit from The Regal Bride. During the reception, Monica wowed in a silk and georgette lehenga set paired with an embellished dupatta by The Regal Bride, and her Sangeet and Mehndi looks were from Preserve Rent.
Each part of the weekend also included next-level decor. Amrit raved about an "incredible backdrop" made by Kate the Earthling for the Mehndi celebration. (The artist also created a gorgeous piece for Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval's home in 2020.) While the vibrant greenery wall was perfect for the outdoor bash, Weddings InStyle Inc. created the most romantic vibe for the ceremony and reception the next day. The dreamy setup included, as Amrit put it on Instagram, "absolutely unbelievable decor" such as darker greens, trees, white florals, clear baubles hanging from the ceiling, and dozens of candles all around the room.
There was plenty of amazing food throughout the weekend as well. While Bali showed the group enjoying pizza following the Sangeet, the days-long celebration also included shrimp, deviled eggs, salads, desserts by The Sprinklenista, and a cake by Cake'd Up by Chandani.
