Twist! Jeff Forgives Andrew - Ep 5
Jeff proves that he has a soft side and Lucy proves she is the cutest child in the world.
The post-Andrew aftermath has Jeff Lewis Design in panic mode. (No, I'm not sure how that differs from any other day at Jeff Lewis Design.) Amid all the extra chaos however, there were a number of unexpected revelations, providing a nice contrast to last week's secret-filled episode. So let's look back at some of the things we learned.
No. 1 - There's No Project Manager at Venice
Evidently Jeff's client, Laura, decided against hiring a project manager for her remodel. Big mistake. Now the project is behind schedule and watching anything be managed inefficiently is like cruel, cruel torture for Jeff. So throughout the entire episode, Jeff wrestles with the contractors and crew trying to protect Laura from overcharges and at the same time not spending too much time agonizing over everything, since he's not getting paid to do that, only to design the space. I don't know about you, but this is a major cautionary tale in my book -- ALWAYS HIRE A PM!
On second thought, we were pretty much aware that was the case.
No. 3 - Jenni Has a Donkey Booty
According to Jeff anyway. Vanina didn't quite agree.
No. 4 - Vanina's Feisty
Don't question Vanina's work, or she will get straight up sassy with your ass. She was not going to be thrown under the bus by Roberto, and came right back at him for the bathroom snafu at Venice. She wasn't kidding around when she said she never makes mistakes.
No. 5 - Jeff Has More Sexual Miles Than Jenni
Allegedly Jeff has definitely gotten around quite a bit more than Jenni has. If she had to guess, she's in economy and Jeff's way up in the cock pit (WINK). Jeff claims to be a gold card, but Jenni seems convinced that he's at the platinum sapphire level. Who to believe?
No. 6 - Lucy is the Cutest Child EVER
She wears a cat-ear headband! And she wants wallpaper with vultures on it! Vultures?! Who is this kid and how can I get one?
No. 7 - Zoila was (Almost) Deported
She was supposed to pick up her green card but just decided not to show up and the government came after her. She's still here, so I guess it all worked out in the end.
Oh and Gage does NOT have two DUIs. Oh that sneaky Zoila...
No. 8 - Deb Taught Jenni Everything She Knows
Years of working in the biz have made Jenni realize she can't be a people pleaser. Enter Deb. Deb's business model has become Jenni's mantra when dealing with people: "Don't care what people think. Get the job done. Do it!" Words to live by.No. 9 - The Truth About Andrew
So Andrew returns to the scene to try and explain himself and get his job back. He explains to Jeff that he has a history of lying due to being abused by his father's business partner in the past. All the things he lied about were all in an attempt to fit in and have everyone like him. Gage does raise a good point though: how do they know he's telling the truth now? I want to believe him, but that's an awkward situation.
No. 10 - Jeff Lewis is Forgiving
Since when does Jeff gives second chances? Now apparently. Jeff gave us a peek at his softer side by letting Andrew come back to work, much to pretty much everyone's surprise. Now let's all hope that was the right move on Jeff's part...
