Our 10 Favorite Holiday Pieces from Joanna Gaines' Target Home Decor Line
We're smitten with the ENTIRE home decor line. (Bonus: It's so affordable!)
If you’re familiar with Fixer Upper star Joanna Gaines’ work, then you’ll recognize her famous aesthetic — exposed beams, floating kitchen shelves, wrought iron accents, and whole lotta shiplap. But there’s also a country cool vibe that Gaines emits in her home makeover projects that none of us could capture… even if we tried really, really hard. Now, however, thanks to Target rolling out Gaines’ new line, Hearth & Hand with Magnolia, we can all get that chic farmhouse look at a price point that’s actually affordable.
While Gaines certainly isn’t the first designer to roll out a product line since making it big, she might be the one who is doing best, especially when it comes to holiday décor. The pieces, from an old time-y “Letters to Santa” mailbox to a stunning and incredibly realistic eucalyptus garland, blew us away for two reasons — first, they are high-quality and low-price (none of our picks below cost more than 40 bucks). The collection is the opposite of cheap and flimsy, because each piece has weight and looks like something you might have found in a small-town holiday market, and not online at a mass retailer. Second, each item is soooo Joanna. It’s obvious that the designer mom of five put her whole self into this line, creating and tailoring each product to fulfill her specific vision. To say we’re smitten would be an understatement!
Oh, and because the line is glitter and sparkle and over-the-top Christmas, a lot of the pieces (especially the wreaths and garlands) can stay out through winters’ end. We’ve highlighted our 10 favorites below, but really, Gaines' whole line (from linens and faux greenery to cake stands and tree troppers!) is worth considering.
