Young House Love Launched a Furniture Line and We Want All of It

If you’re a home obsessive like myself and you love nothing more than before-and-after pics of a fixer-upper, then you’re probably familiar with Young House Love, the blog helmed by John & Sherry Petersik, a Virginia-based couple who has flipped three homes throughout the year and have written about countless creative, pretty DIY projects. And if you aren’t familiar with them, well, you should be! Follow them on Instagram and you’ll be hooked — let’s just say the couple recently painted their red brick home white… and as someone who currently lives in a red brick home, I’m OBSESSED.

So when I heard that the couple was launching a furniture line with Wayfair, I was all in. Why? Because like most of Young House Love’s fans, I truly love the Petersiks' aesthetic. Part vintage, part classic, and 100 percent clean, airy, and bright, the couple’s choices when it comes to paint, finishes, fixtures, and more are always spot on. Unfortunately for me, as much as I want to move into their painted-white brick house, I can’t — because that would be creepy. But thanks to this Wayfair collab, now I can nab myself a piece of the Young House Love look I love so much.

“We wanted to design a collection that felt classic yet interesting,” said John and Sherry in a press release. “We had fun incorporating distinct touches so each piece feels special. We really put an emphasis on livable pieces that can layer with existing furniture and evolve with your family."

They added that the line was created specifically for consumers who are ready to embrace adulthood and upgrade from their first apartment hand-me-downs. That’s right, it’s time to say buh-bye to your aunt Susan’s decades-old couch and the dining room table that you’ve been eating on since you were in a booster seat. It's time to invest in good, pretty furnishings, and Young House Love’s pieces are the perfect entry point.
