For Kanye West, Wyoming is the place he goes to "get in the zone." It's where he goes to get inspired in peace and focus on his music — and where he held his most recent listening party.
But the rapper's presence does not, apparently, have the same soothing effect on the destination.
The owners of Diamond Cross Ranch, which hosted Kanye and the party, found it to be the "most confusing" event they've ever hosted, according to The Blast. The venue's operator Jane Golliher explained that the rapper made changes to the program “every 30 minutes," ultimately making the call to move it outdoors after it had originally been planned as an indoor event.
The change led to angry neighbors, whose complaints of noise Golliher herself had to handle in order to avoid police intervention. As the event sailed on past midnight, Golliher was nearly forced to shut off the power, she explained.
Beyond that, she said that Kanye “severely” underpaid for the ranch's extensive efforts.
Her conclusion? "No more rappers” allowed.
