Caroline Stanbury Shares a Look at Her Childhood Home
The Ladies of London alum dished on her "old-school" upbringing in an English mansion.
Ever since Bravo viewers first met Caroline Stanbury, she has lived in only the most palatial digs. After leaving her English estate, the Ladies of London alum settled into life in Dubai — first in a gorgeous, six-bedroom townhouse, and now in a new home with stunning views and a luxurious pool deck. But, has home life always been so lavish for the Dubai mom?
In a Life After Bravo interview, exclusive to Bravo Insider, Caroline shed more light on her upbringing — and specifically, on the house she grew up in. "My mother's from one of the best families in England, and I went to debutant school," she says in the clip above. "My dad's sort of — they're just [a] very, old-fashioned, British, sort of old-school family. I grew up in a big house with ... nannies with gloves."
These days, Caroline's home has an aesthetic that's a direct departure from her parents' taste. "I'm much more glitz and glam," she says in the interview. "I'm living in Dubai; they're in the British countryside ... My house is full of color and everything is pink and yellow and bright and makes me happy just walking around. Their colors are all brown and greens and understated."
Watch the video to get a peek at Caroline's sprawling childhood home, and to revisit a very proper tea service with her mother.
