We first met Caroline Stanbury's daughter Yasmine when she was just a little girl, living in a princess-themed bedroom. Showing off the space in the clip above, the Ladies of London alum says: "There's a lot of pink going on. She loves pink."

Since the days when she jumped on her bed in a Mickey Mouse t-shirt, Yasmine has grown up — and how. In a recent Instagram post, Caroline showed off her newly minted 14-year-old, who was celebrating her birthday with a decadent cake.

And though Yasmine has morphed into a gorgeous teenager with a sophisticated sense of style, it seems that one thing has never changed: this teen still loves anything pink.

Her girly birthday confection had golden, white, and pink cake pops forming a ring around its base. The cake itself was also pink, frosted in the palest, petal-like shade and drizzled with decorative white icing. On top of the dessert, metallic candles spelled out Yasmine's age.

The whole event had mom feeling sentimental. "Today my first born turned 14," Caroline wrote in her caption. "I could not be more proud of the woman she is becoming. [Yasmine] mummy loves you."

It seems that Yasmine's feisty spirit is still intact, too: "She will kill me for this," Caroline added.
