Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner Skipped This NYE Style Tradition for Something Even Better
The model friends rang in 2018 wearing unexpected looks.
It's the start of a new year. The tinsel is coming down. And suddenly, sparkles seem a little last month. While we are all for celebrating the holiday season with as much glitter as possible — and we admittedly rocked a sparkling cat eye for our New Year's Eve festivities — Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner decided to eschew the bling for clean, classic, and totally head-turning looks for their own celebration.
On January 1, Hadid took to Instagram to show just how two top models ring in 2018. Posing on vintage cars that look like something Jay Gatsby would drive, the style stars stuck to mostly black looks.
Jenner wore a black blazer with matching trousers, and a teeny white crop top underneath. With her hair left loose and slightly tousled, she exuded a tomboy-chic vibe.
For her part, Hadid wore a black trousers with a plunging top that had strategic cut-outs down the front. She wore her hair in a high, sleek half ponytail — and, OK, she did sparkle a bit. Around her neck, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter wore a thick diamond choker.
Seriously, have you ever seen a better-looking pair of pals?
Though the courtyard photo shoot was all the eye candy we really needed, Jenner did give fans a peek inside the holiday bash.
The friends' countdown to the New Year included champagne and confetti. But honestly, they both deserve those celebratory tropes every darn day for bringing us constant style inspiration.
