10 Beauty Products That Are Like a Juice Cleanse for Your Skin and Hair

The holiday season will have you indulging for months — this is how you at least keep your skin and hair in top shape.

By Katherine Kluznik

If there’s one time of year you should NOT attempt a juice cleanse or detox diet of any kind, it’s the holidays. After all, when else is it totally socially acceptable to eat six to nine peanut butter kisses in place of dinner and wash them down with a Pumpkin Spice Martini? No way I'm missing out on that.

In a cruel twist, though, all the endless excuses to fête the season (aka holiday parties) mean my skin looks in major need of rehab right when I’m finally able catch up with friends I haven’t seen all fall.

But this year I've got science on my side, in the form of the handful of products ahead that promise to detox my skin and hair and let me keep on indulging until the ball drops on 2018.

Rahua Detox & Renewal Treatment Set

This two-piece treatment program rehabs strands by cleansing away the hair-product build up that started weighing strands down with the first party of the holiday season. Its moisture-boosting Amazonian oils then cloak stressed cuticles, keeping them nourished for the rest of the season.

Erno Laszlo Detoxifying Cleansing Set

Tag-team the cleansing oil and beauty bar to lift away toxins without stripping skin.

Curious Apothecary Mint Charcoal Lip Balm

No, it won't turn your lips the color of charcoal. It will, however, hydrate them, pull out toxins, and make them feel all minty.

Glamglow Bubblesheet Oxygenating Deep Cleanse Mask

You know how your skin feels as bad this oxygenating fright-mask looks right now? Trust us and spend 10 minutes letting its foaming formula bubble away all kinds of holiday sins.

Caudalie Instant Detox Mask

A combo of pink clay, coffee- and grape-derived polyphenols undo a season's worth of damage (or at least last night's) in 10 minutes.

Clarins Booster Detox

Add a pump of Clarins' booster into your foundation, moisurizer — basically any beauty product you're going to use anyway — and it'll get to work repairing skin on the DL.

Herbavore Detox Bath Salts

A soak is always a good way press pause on holiday stress — but having one in lavender- and eucalyptus-infused water will clear your skin as much as your mind.

Method Deep Detox Body Wash

Cucumber, seaweed, and green tea have been go-to detoxifers forever, and this body wash combines all three.

Alba Hawaiian Detox Body Lotion

Volcanic clay in this botanical lotion detoxifies skin as natural lipids hydrate it.

Hum Nutrition Daily Cleanse Supplement

Will these nutrient packed-pills undo all the damage from my holiday indulgences? Unlikely. But if they give me an excuse to keep indulging, well, that's good enough for me.
