Drew Barrymore Had the Best Reaction to a Fan Asking if She's Pregnant

Most people know that it's just not okay to ask a stranger if she's expecting a baby ... most, but not all. Unfortunately, Drew Barrymore ran into a fan who didn't get the memo. 

When appearing on The Late Late Show With James Corden on March 21, the Santa Clarita Diet actress relayed the cringe-worthy incident. "I [was] walking out of a restaurant with a bunch of my mom friends and we all have kids, so there's kids running around the restaurant on their way out," Barrymore said. "This woman stopped me and she's like 'God, you have so many kids.' I said 'not all of them are mine; I just have two.' And she said: 'and you're expecting [another baby], obviously.'" Insert screeching record. 

Instead of laughing off the rude comment, Barrymore put the woman in her place. "I literally looked at her and I go: 'No, I'm just fat right now,'" the actress shared. But, she was also candid about feeling the burn of such a harsh encounter. "I walked out of the restaurant, and I'm not going to lie, I was like, 'oh, man, that's rough.'" 

The actress also opened up about the diet she stuck to while preparing to film season two of her Netflix show. Barrymore admitted that she "hates dieting," and "would much rather eat fettuccine Alfredo all day long."

But, Barrymore thought that her character's evolution would become more clear visually if she lost weight gradually as the show unfolded, and subtly tweaked her wardrobe and beauty routine. During filming, the actress says that she sticks to a vegan diet and works out almost every day.
