How Does Joe Giudice Feel About Teresa’s Bikini Fitness Competition Now?

During the Season 9 premiere of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, viewers got to look back at the time when Teresa Giudice was training for her first fitness competition — and keeping the whole thing pretty hush-hush. In fact, the Jersey mama didn't even tell her husband, Joe Giudice, about the competition for fear he would disapprove. Well, now that the competition is behind Teresa and she has this chiseled physique to show for her months of training, how does her husband feel?

The Lookbook got to ask Teresa that very question when she recently stopped by Bravo HQ. Since her husband has been serving out his sentence at a New Jersey correctional facility, Teresa explained, "Really he didn’t see me naked or even with a bikini on, so I guess if he watches the show when it comes out now [he'll see me], but he hasn’t really seen it. Oh, I think he did see me in the magazine and he said I looked really good, yeah. He’s proud of me."

She also dished a bit more about Joe's feelings before seeing Teresa slay a magazine spread. "I remember back in the day he didn’t want me to do it," she said. "He was, like, not a fan of me doing a fitness competition and wearing a thong bikini and getting on stage and strutting my stuff and now he’s totally fine with it. He’s like, ‘Good luck, I hope you win.’ So, I think he was really proud of me." As he should be!
