Jenna Dewan Made Her First Post-Split Red Carpet Appearance, and Just Wow
The newly single star was glowing in a bohemian style dress.
We were all sighs (and maybe a few expletives) when we heard that Jenna Dewan and Channing Tatum were going their separate ways. It seemed unfathomable that the adorable couple could be headed to splits-ville, but alas, things happen. And in the meantime, both parties are keeping their chins up — and Dewan is making our jaw drop.
On April 20, the World of Dance judge made her first red carpet appearance since the big split was announced. The occasion was the St. Jude Heritage & Hope Gala, and the actress was honored as the Children's Research Hospital Humanitarian of the Year.
To celebrate the worthy cause, Dewan wore a sleeveless black gown that was equal parts elegant and bohemian. With its floor-sweeping silhouette and plunging V-neck, the dress fit the black-tie dress code to the T. But, its embroidered floral designs added a bit of color and free-spirited appeal. Just consider this a gown you could wear to a gala held in an enchanted meadow. (And, should you ever get invited to an event like that, can we be your plus one?)
Dewan wore the Zuhair Murad dress both with a feathered bolero (casual) ...
... and without:
And with her freshly shortened hair hanging loose, a dewy complexion, and a swipe of pink lipstick, the mom was positively aglow. This, one could say, is how to put your best face forward.
