Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin Just Showed Us How to Wear Heels with Adidas Tracksuits
This NYFW presentation remixed Adidas tracksuits in the coolest way.
Kendall Jenner and Hailey Baldwin kicked off New York Fashion Week with maybe the comfiest gig a model could book. Their assignment? Modeling a new collection of Adidas Originals tracksuits designed by an up-and-coming 23-year-old designer.
Daniëlle Cathari showed last year at NYFW during a VFILES new designer showcase, where she chopped up vintage Adidas tracksuits and sewed them back together in the most imaginative way. Adidas liked her work so much that they booked her to do the same exact thing for the brand, but to make it official this year. As if that isn't a pinch-me moment for a new designer, Adidas ambassador and tracksuit fan Jenner fronted the collection along with fellow buzzy model Baldwin.
Here are Cathari and Jenner, showing off a super cool deconstructed and reconstructed Adidas tracksuit:
Baldwin made athleisure look high-fashion too, pairing the look with heels just like Jenner. (OK, the look wasn't all about comfort.)
Not only did Baldwin and Jenner get to hang out in tracksuits, they got to play around on the adult jungle gym Adidas constructed for the presentation.
This sounds like the most fun, chill way for Jenner and Baldwin to kick off NYFW — but we're hoping there are some high-glam moments in store for them this week too.
