Sarah Hyland Puts Her "Scars on Display" in a High-Cut Bikini
The Modern Family actress shared a raw and beautiful post on Instagram.
Sarah Hyland is baring her natural beauty to the world, scars and all.
The Modern Family star, who lives with kidney dysplasia (it required her to receive a kidney transplant surgery in 2012) has always been very open in regards to her health woes. Earlier this week, Hyland got even more candid when she proudly displayed her surgery scars to the world.
While celebrating the Fourth of July with her pals, Hyland shared several bikini photos that showed her surgery scars. “#Scarsondisplay,” she wrote alongside one of the images of herself in a high-cut white and black bikini. The actress also had a backyard photo shoot with her friends.

A month ago, Hyland also shared a raw selfie after being hospitalized for undisclosed health reasons. “Sometimes a selfie is more than just a good angle and feelin cute. This time for #nationalselfieday I’ve decided to share my truth. As painful as it is,” she wrote along with a selfie of revealing her noticeably swollen face. “So here is my face that was torn from work against my will. But I’m very grateful it was. Health should always come first #stayhealthymyfriends," she shared.
We’re glad to see that the actress is in better spirits and enjoying her summer.
