Super-Flattering Jeans for Those of Us Who Aren't a Size Zero (Meaning All of Us)

Super-Flattering Jeans for Those of Us Who Aren't a Size Zero (Meaning All of Us)

Say goodbye to jeans that hug too tightly in the calves or are cut weirdly at the thighs.

By Katherine Kluznik

We all know that finding the perfect pair of jeans is tough. It’s one of those universal truths. The style you love on the hanger is pretty much guaranteed to be too big in the waist or too small in the hips (or vice versa — who can predict what denim horrors await?). If it's not that, it’ll hug too tightly in the calves or cut weirdly at the thighs, or some other design quirk that makes you think, Who, exactly, were these jeans made for?

Except … maybe that's not true anymore. Just take a look at all the curve-flattering denim rolling into stores this season. Not only is it suddenly simple to find that pair of holy grail jeans you’ve been hunting down for years, now with a few clicks you can stock your closet with an entire mini wardrobe of perfect pairs in every trend for fall. Grab hip-skimming "girlfriend" jeans with sharp little slashes at the knees, or sexy dark-denim NYDJ skinnies ... or any of the 10 silhouettes ahead.
