BRAVOTV.COM: We're beginning to see the models really feel the competition and compete with each other personally -- what's your take on that?
The models realize that the competition is getting tougher because we are getting closer to the end. The situation amongst them has changed from camaraderie to rivalry.
BRAVOTV.COM: This episode was about video. What's the challenge that comes with that?
The challenge that comes with shooting video is that one must act. You must give more of yourself than photos because it involves movement and personality that helps you sell the clothes.
BRAVOTV.COM: Looking back at the competition so far, what have been the biggest surprises for you?
The biggest surprise for me is how MOST of these models have learned and grown in this competition. In the real world, it takes a little longer for neophytes to find their way but when one is put in a "Model Boot Camp" like this, the competition forces one to learn quickly. I have to say, the second biggest surprise was seeing Stephanie go when she did.
BRAVOTV.COM: What was your take on Frankie?
Frankie is one of the models that I felt matured in this competition. I became very fond of him and was upset to see him go. I realized with Frankie's departure that we were heading towards the end, and the judging was only going to get rougher from here.
BRAVOTV.COM: Let's talk about the contenders this week.
Great kid, but not as strong as his competition
Beautiful androgynous face and yet can't get the modeling down. Do you know how frustrating this is to watch?
Wants to win this competition and is proving to us, the judges, that she wants it every week. Is she strong enough, though?
The "player is playing" and doing well, but I still feel he has control issues towards the other models. Let's hope he can subdue the cockiness.
Has learned the most in this competition. It isn't easy diversifying yourself from a commercial look to an editorial one, yet he's done it. He needs to remember that there is no more room for mistakes.
Doing great as always, but still needs to show us more of who she is. Technically, she's spot-on, but in order to truly differentiate herself as a supermodel, she must also allow her personality to come through on the job. This industry is no place for passivity!
