Where does the time go? We bet that's exactly what Dr. Heavenly Kimes was thinking this past weekend when her 13 year-old daughter, Alaura, got all dressed up for her school's homecoming dance.
On October 13, the Married to Medicine dentist and proud mama posted a pic on Instagram of an all-grown-up Alaura making her way to Homecoming in a sleek black ensemble. Alaura looked stunning in a long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder, black minidress, which she paired with gold star earrings and matching black sandals.
In a heartfelt caption, Heavenly wrote: "My tiny little baby is going to homecoming!!! She is sooo beautiful, it’s hard for me to allow her to grow up! We argued over the dress she would wear... I bought her a dress like the one she wore when she was seven!"
The mother-daughter pair might not have been on the same page when it came to Alaura's dress, but still, Heavenly made sure her baby girl got the full glam treatment. The teen got her makeup done by a pro artist and she looked absolutely radiant.
