Dr. Jackie Walters' Newly-Renovated Home Has the Prettiest Dining Room

Dr. Jackie Walters knows a thing or two about the pain of a home renovation. After all, the Married to Medicine OBGYN completely gutted the Atlanta fixer upper she bought last year down to the studs and put an addition on the sprawling space. Unsurprisingly, the process was rife with “horror stories.” “The contractors [are] not coming every day,” she told BravoTV.com recently. “To see them tear out a wall and it stays like that for three days. Or to see them misuse your house, like it’s not a real house. To see them go to the bathroom in a water bottle and leave it there when you come home. Oh my god. Luckily, the project is coming to a close. “I can see the (light) end of this renovation,” she exclaimed on Instagram Stories last week. And as of this week, the doctor is back in her home… and she’s in major cleaning mode. “Tryn to prepare and clean these rooms post renovation could suck the joy out of one but I’m so joyous we are near the end, we have great health and my job allows me to make a difference in the lives of others; I grabbed flowers from the grocery store and my yard' and turned on some music while I cleaned and worked,” she captioned a Instagram video of her cleaning throughout the gorgeous new space, adding, “Umm, why didn’t someone tell me to wrap this darn chandelier when renovations started!!!!”

The post-renovation cleanup is no joke, the dust is everywhere. But can we take a minute to talk about Jackie’s utterly fancy dining room? Adjacent to her stairwell and overlooking the backyard and pool area, Jackie’s dining room features a new, bright white round table — she ditched the former dark wood, rectangular table and in doing so completely brightened up the space! The giant crystal chandelier lends an opulent vibe to the room, too.
