If you're looking to buy an opulent, multi-million dollar residence in New York City (or just vicariously gawk at one from the comfort of your own home), Ryan Serhant always manages to have something epic that fits the bill perfectly. Case in point: The Million Dollar Listing New York broker recently showed his social media followers around a striking Manhattan penthouse with endless views of Central Park, the Hudson River, and the George Washington Bridge — and an asking price of $30 million.
This week, he's got more of a "bargain" property in the city to sell, a six-story West Chelsea townhouse that's asking for just $18 million. He offered more details about it in an Instagram post taken from the home's insane bathtub.
"Since it’s a Tuesday, I thought I’d check out the tub in our INSANE new listing that just hit the market today for $17.99M (Spoiler: the tub has only been used ONCE, and that was by Lady Gaga). This 11,000 square foot townhouse in West Chelsea has a movie theater, private garage, indoor pool, sauna, rooftop jacuzzi, wine cellar and yoga studio spread across 6 stories. Did I mention the custom DaVinci fireplace, imported Italian doors with Swarovski crystal handles, double height ceilings, glass elevator, and Italian Stella chandelier?" he wrote on Instagram.
The deep and round bathtub looks like a place for ultimate relaxation, but really all we can look at is that stunning mosaic-tiled wall depicting an avante garde flower and butterfly. Like a floor-to-ceiling piece of artwork, we can only imagine how long that tiled mural took to create!
Crazy impressed? Us, too. But you haven't even seen the indoor swimming pool yet — take a look at more of this gorgeous property and start dreaming!
