Steve Gold Is Giving Us a Tour of His Bohemian Southampton Home
The Million Dollar Listing New York broker is opening the door to his luxe abode.
While his career may be based in the concrete jungle, Steve Gold’s paradise is decidedly beachside. The Million Dollar Listing New York new dad invited Home & Design over for a tour of his 3,300-square-foot Southampton home recently, which he just renovated. The result? A manse so stunning that it even graced the pages of Architectural Digest!
“I bought a house in the Hamptons about three years ago, I made some renovations, I made it my own, it’s really been a project of mine,” Steve told us during the tour. “It’s very much different from the things I sell — it’s very much me.”
And by “me,” he means equal parts bohemian and luxe. In the home, Steve has effortlessly mixed rich hues (Emerald green cabinetry! Purple velvet counter stools!) and textural elements (Exposed wood beams! Painted brick fireplace!), with upscale details like luxury appliances and pricey works of art. And clearly it’s paid off, since the broker says that the five-bedroom, four-bathroom home has now become “an important part of my life — it’s really become an extension of my life in Manhattan.”
