Fredrik Eklund’s New $35M Fort Lauderdale Listing Is Breaking Real Estate Records
The Million Dollar Listing New York broker is making a major real estate splash in Florida.
Leave it to Fredrik Eklund to break a real estate record in the Sunshine State. The Million Dollar Listing New York broker had added a $35 million, 22,000-square-foot condo to the Eklund Gomes Team at Douglas Elliman portfolio. And get this: It's located within the Four Seasons. Yep, we’re drooling, too. Not surprisingly, residents of the building have access to the hotel’s best amenities, like a beach butler, spa, room service, and even an on-call veterinarian.
Including a 7,000-square-foot roof deck with a private pool and putting green, the still-under-construction condo is making a splash for one big reason — it’s the most expensive ever listed in the city… by a long shot. According to The Wall Street Journal, the penthouse unit in the Four Seasons Private Residences is actually four times pricier than the $8.6 million record-setting price a condo in the Auberge Beach Residences nabbed last year.
What do you get for $35 million? Well, besides notoriety, you can expect five bedrooms, six bathrooms, a gym, a home theater, and a wine-tasting area (with temperature-controlled storage, natch) spread across one floor. “The super wealthy people, they don’t like stairs,” Fredrik told WSJ.
“Today we listed the-one-and only SkyHome Penthouse at Four Seasons in Fort Lauderdale asking $35,000,000,” Fredrik captioned a video tour of the unit posted to his Instagram account. “Featured in the Wall Street Journal today, this masterpiece boasts 22,000 Sqft of indoor and outdoor living with the most incredible services only FS can deliver. I’m so proud to be part of the team and set another record.”
