See Inside Kirsten Jordan's $10M Listing in a "Major Celeb Building"
Nearly a decade after doing her "first big sale," The Million Dollar Listing New York broker got a chance to find a buyer for the apartment for the second time.
Nearly a decade after closing her "first big sale" on a $3.6M apartment in NYC's TriBeCa neighborhood, Kirsten Jordan was excited by the challenge of finding a new buyer for the home.
"This is such a pleasure to think about working on this property again," Kirsten said on Million Dollar Listing New York's August 5 episode. "It would mean so much to me to be able to sell this apartment a second time around."
Selling the 3,532 square foot apartment in 2012 was a milestone moment in Kirsten's career. "It was the first time that I had ever sold anything that was over like two million dollars," she recalled. "It was a big step." In an interview, she added, "It made me feel like such a badass broker."
Although she felt the apartment's new $10M price tag was a bit too high, Kirsten was ready to get to work on finding the right buyer. "Back in 2012, when I sold this apartment, I was still learning the ropes and figuring out how to wrangle these kinds of bigger transactions," she said. "Now, I have such a different level of confidence around these kinds of deals that I really feel like I got this."
The 4-bedroom, 3-bathroom apartment features 10.5-foot ceilings, a kitchen with Italian cabinetry, a custom closet, and original details that Kirsten noted "equal dollar signs."
The building, 155 Franklin Street, is known for having famous tenants. "Taylor Swift lived in the penthouse, Orlando Bloom lived there, the Olsen twins lived there," Kirsten said. "The truth is some people looking at these kinds of buildings that have no doorman and no amenities with low common charges really want to have anonymity, especially in a major celeb building."
