How to Make Your House Feel Crazy Expensive? Marble. Everywhere.

And you can do it on a budget, too.

By Katherine Kluznik

I have spent many hours watching Million Dollar Listing (many, many hours), and after 10 seasons and counting I’ve learned two major lessons. 1) I do not have the cash to own one of the mega-glam properties featured on the series. 2) That fact is not going to stop me from looking like I do, thanks to the handful of design skills I’ve picked up while watching the show.

Case in point: Remember that episode where Fredrik Eklund led Bethenny Frankel through a marble emporium plastered floor to ceiling with every iteration of the stone? His reaction to all that glamour was a little over the topbut I totally get it. I can’t think of another material that lends more instant glamour to a space than marble (sorry, rose gold — still love you!). My takeaway from the episode: Bring on the marble!

And there couldn't be a better moment to add it to every space in your place, courtesy of all the designers out there who clearly love the trend as much as the rest of us, faking it on everything from dinnerware to bedding, and going with the real deal with lamps and other weighty objets.

Ahead, 10 totally on-trend — and absolutely affordable — ways try it out.
