There is a perfect occasion for wearing a ripped white long-sleeve tee — and it is not, as one might think, painting your bedroom or doing yard work.
Zendaya, who is a fashion icon in more ways than we can count, just proved that mixing high and low fashion is not only acceptable, it should totally be encouraged because the results are amazing. After the 2018 Met Gala in New York City on May 7, the Daya by Zendaya designer changed out of her stunning Joan of Arc-inspired Gala gown and into a slightly more casual look for Versace's Met Gala After Party. The actress/singer donned a regal purple-and-yellow high-waisted mini skirt. Unafraid of mixing patterns, she paired the mini with black-and-white polka dot pumps. But, our favorite part was how she topped it all off with a super casual white long-sleeve tee. Just check out this artful ensemble:
Good to know we can rock a distressed, slouchy top to a star-studded event such as the Versace Met Gala After Party. That means, for pretty much any event coming up on your calendar, you can totally pull off the top (as long as it's styled and accessorized properly, of course).
But, the best part of this top has to be that it looks equally good with a pair of mom jeans and some heeled booties (much more our everyday speed). Take a look and tell us you don't have major outfit envy:
The $88 top, which also comes in black and gray, is from the celeb-loved brand n:Philanthropy. It features the label's signature collar tear that stars such as Jessica Biel, Gal Gadot, and Zoe Saldana have all worn.
Feel like you need to own this ASAP? (Yeah, us too.) You can snatch it up from n:Philanthropy here.
