Austen finds himself in Charleston by way of Charlotte, NC. After graduating from the University of Alabama, this adventurous stargazer spent his time traveling everywhere from the Rocky Mountains to New Zealand. Charleston was the obvious choice to settle down after years spent vacationing with his family on Kiawah Island. On the heels of a tough year that saw Austen on the outs with his close friend, broken up with his girlfriend, and struggling to kick off his dream business, he is more determined than ever to turn his luck around. This season, he’s established new boundaries in his friendship with Shep, mended his relationship with Madison, and tweaked the recipe for his newly-named beer. Immersed in the local craft beer scene, Austen has made a name for himself in the industry. His very own Kings Calling brew, Trop Hop, made its debut at the Charleston Wine + Food Festival, and is now sold in bars and retailers throughout the state.
