Buffie is a tax and personal finance professional with over twenty years expertise. She demystifies the daunting world of taxes, personal finance, and small business management with skilled, practical, and sassy guidance. Buffie is very open and honest with her clients about her failures as well as her successes as a serial entrepreneur. She is passionate about helping women channel their inner fruGAL. Buffie is a true southern belle and is most commonly recognized as a third-generation tax practitioner from a family of tax pros. She is happily married to the love of her life, Dr. David Purselle, a well-known and respected Atlanta psychiatrist licensed in seven states as well as the commonwealth of Puerto Rico. Buffie takes her MrsMD very seriously as she helps her husband run their medical practice, Georgia Psychiatric Consultants, in Atlanta and their telemedicine practice in San Juan, Puerto Rico where the Purselle’s reside half of the year. Buffie and David were blessed with the honor and privilege of being a large part of their nephews' (Jalen, Aiden, and Terrence) lives as more than just the cool Aunt and Uncle. Buffie and David enjoy renovating their homes and rental properties. Buffie’s philanthropic endeavors include being the Vice-Chair of IYAI (Introducing Youth to Careers in Infrastructure), a non-profit founded by Dr. Beverly Scott, former CEO of the Boston, Atlanta, Sacramento, and Rhode Island mass transit systems. Buffie and David have two furbabies Louie, a 3-year-old chocolate toy poodle, and Prada, a one-year-old golden labradoodle. She is also recognized as a highly sought after national tax and personal finance expert seen on HLN, CNN, and CNBC, and lives by the motto, "If you look for the bad in people you will surely find it," so she chooses to look for the good.
