Joey Gibbons

Joey Gibbons is the CEO of Gibbons Whistler. Established in 1979, the Gibbons brand is synonymous with Whistler and now encompasses five iconic bars, a festivals and events division, a craft brewery and distillery, and most recently, an experiential travel company aptly named -- Gibbons Life. Gibbons Life celebrates and curates the ultimate the Whistler region has to offer, including everything from private plane rentals to epic heli ski days to five star dinners on a glacier followed by legendary party nights in Whistler Village.

Joey Gibbons, a Whistler native, competed on the Canadian National Alpine Ski Team and graduated Bishop’s University with bachelor’s degree in business and economics. He has been an active member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a global community of young leaders and CEOs, since 2005. Gibbons is committed to his community and is passionate about giving back to causes and individuals that keep Whistler authentic. Gibbons and his team will launch their namesake beer in early 2017.
