Vanassa Sebastian

Hailing from Ledyard, Connecticut, Vanassa is as unique as the spelling of her name. Complete with her "tell it like it is" personality, Vanassa is the total package made up of brains, beauty, ambition, and a splash of sass. In addition to being a pageant champion, Vanassa is a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) and an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) who administers anesthesia in the operating room. When she gets out of her scrubs, this fun-loving diva enjoys the finer things in life, especially high-end fashion and couture clothing. Vanassa is from the Passamaquoddy Tribe and carries on the tradition of a culturally rich heritage. She describes her life as that of a "Native American fairytale." Vanassa hit the jackpot in more ways than one when she married the love of her life Brian, who along with his family owns one of the world's largest casinos, Foxwoods Resort & Casino. She and Brian, who is also Native American, have a 24-year-old daughter, Tyah Marie. Vanassa is passionate not only about life and her uncompromising values, but also about her many philanthropic causes including the Special Olympics, Make a Wish Foundation, and organizations that empower women. Vanassa is very supportive of multiple Breast Cancer Foundations, a cause that holds a special place in her heart after her own bout with breast cancer. Vanassa is truly a survivor in every sense of the word and proves that with every quest for the crown! Vanassa has previously held the title of Mrs. Connecticut America 2012 and went on to compete at Mrs. America, where she placed in the top 10 and won most original costume.
