A few months after Amal Clooney and George Clooney welcomed their twins Ella and Alexander to the world in June 2017, the actor shared early impressions of his children.
Ella is "elegant," he told Entertainment Tonight, and Alexander is a "thug."
“He’s a moose!" he joked during the interview. Literally, he just sits and he eats.”
Now, mom Amal has shared the twins' first elegant and thuggish words in her May cover story with Vogue. And while it wouldn't be super shocking if the children of such smart parents had some really elaborate first words, they pretty much said the same first words that most babies do.
“We’ve had some ‘Mamas’ and ‘Dadas,’" the lauded barrister, who specializes in human rights, told the publication. “George was very careful to ensure that ‘Mama’ was the first word.”
She also shared some details of the "quality time" they spend with the twins, even as she remains deep in work mode.
“Between six and eight in the morning we get to have them in our bed — I don’t schedule any calls before eight,” she revealed. “When I was nursing, it was much more complicated, because there are two. I had all manner of weird cushions and pillows and machines.”
