In a 2015 interview with Barbara Walters, Schumer said: "I would love [to have a family], but I don’t really see it for myself ... I don’t know how realistic it is … [In 10 years] I want to be expressing myself creatively somehow, as a director or producer.”
Fast forward three years, and Schumer is happily married to her chef hubby Chris Fischer. And as for having little ones, well, that may not be such a stretch as Schumer once thought. When she appeared The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the topic of having wee ones came up quickly.
"I can't picture that, but I think you'd be an amazing mom," DeGeneres said. "I will breast feed on your show," Schumer quipped. She also brought up an instance in February when she dressed as a baby to appear on another episode of the talk show.
"I have never wanted kids,” she said. “And then I saw myself as a baby on your show and I thought, ‘Who am I to deprive the world of such a beautiful baby?’” She added: "I think we’re gonna do it but just use my genetics."
