Since Chris Pratt and Anna Faris announced their decision to part ways last August, Pratt has remained mostly mum on the subject (at least in public.) But, the actor recently opened up about the separation that shook fans of the adorable twosome, and his terse remarks basically summed it all up.
When speaking to Entertainment Weekly earlier this week, Pratt uttered an age-old truth: "divorce sucks," he said. But, on the bright side: "At the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much," Pratt added. "And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better."
A day later, Faris stopped by SiriusXM Hits 1 radio for an interview, and responded to her ex's remarks. "We have a great friendship, we really do and we always have," she said of Pratt. "It’s always tough to envision your futures as one thing but I think there’s a lot of love."
Faris has also taken some wisdom away from the breakup. "I think that it’s a lesson learned a little bit in terms of keeping relationships a little more private potentially even though I don’t want to," she said. "I pride myself on being a pretty open person but I don’t know. It’s tough when you’re under the scrutiny."
