Here’s How Anna Faris Responded to Chris Pratt's Engagement
The former couple's divorce was finalized in October.
It's been just three months since Anna Faris and Chris Pratt, who were married for eight years and have a six-year-old son named Jack, reached an amicable and co-parenting friendly divorce settlement, and now Chris has announced his engagement to Katherine Schwartzenegger, who he started dating quickly after he and Anna (who also moved on quickly) announced their split.
Seeing your ex-spouse move on so quickly could be devastating for anyone, and especially so if it's in the public spotlight, but Anna seems very positive about the news.
“I’m so happy for you both!! Congratulations!” she commented on Chris' engagement announcement on Instagram on Monday, January 14.
Katherine's mother Maria Shriver also commented, "Congratulations to two loving, kind, caring, thoughtful, spiritual people. We are so happy for you. You are blessed, as is everyone who knows you. Yes, let's go."
"Anna and Katherine have met a few times and get along and that was very important to Chris," an insider told Entertainment Tonight. "Anna is excited for Chris and Katherine and above all is happy Chris is with someone who loves Jack like their own. The couple got engaged quick but everyone around them saw it coming. They really are a great couple that have a solid foundation. Chris had the approval of the family and everyone is excited for their union.”
Anna and Chris' former home, which you can virtually tour, is now on the market, listed by The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' husband Mauricio Umansky's company The Agency.
