Jennifer Lopez Celebrated Her One-Year Anniversary With Alex Rodriguez With This Impromptu On-Stage Moment

The lovebirds celebrated their super anniversary at the Super Bowl.

It seems like just yesterday we were squealing over Jennifer Lopez and Alex Rodriguez's first public outing as a pair in May of 2017. (If there's any place to make your public debut as a couple, it's the Met Gala, right?) Almost every day since then, there's been evidence that the lovebirds are getting more and more serious. Did you witness the way they blended their families for the holidays? And then, before we knew it, the superstar duo was celebrating their one-year anniversary.

Instead of jetting off to a secluded beach to celebrate the milestone, the couple spent the weekend in tropical ... Minneapolis. It's not the most classic of romantic destinations, but Lopez had work to do in town: she was the headliner for a pre-Super-Bowl concert. The couple's anniversary falls on February 3, which is the night Lopez took to the stage in skintight leopard print. And, feeling the love in the air, the singer decided to make an impromptu announcement to the crowd.

Dishing about her beau, Lopez announced: "We've been together for one year today. I don't want to get all mushy or anything, but baby, this song's for you. I love you." She then launched into the song "Us." (Aww!)

After the performance, Lopez told E! News: "It was our little anniversary, so it was a special night. I kept thinking 'Oh, God—February 3! That's our day. Oh, my God! It's been a year.' It was more spontaneous than anything else. It wasn't too planned. I thought about it, and I thought, 'Maybe I'll do it; maybe I won't. But it was a great show, in general, and ... I don't know. We felt really good."

As Lopez performed, her proud boyfriend shared footage of her show like a gushing fan.

On Sunday, the pair hit up the big game together. Predictably, the smitten stars were all smiles.

Congrats to the happy couple! We can't wait to see what the next year will bring. And, we have a hunch it may rhyme with diamond bling
