Kanye West "loves" Donald Trump. "Ye" is over him.
As we've gone through before, West has been rubbing people the wrong way lately: There was the Donald Trump comments, the slavery comments, his Twitter rants, and his Saturday Night Live appearance where he performed dressed as a Perrier bottle before alienating the entire cast with a pro-Trump rant during the closing credits. Then he visited the White House to drop some knowledge about life on Pluto and the best dijon mustard or God knows what before he then showed the world his iPhone password was 000000.
Well, either he woke up from some deep, deep slumber into today's world, or Kris Jenner cast a magic spell; either way he's now broadcasting an opinion that's quite the opposite of the one he had two days ago. Also, he's discovered how to get back into his Twitter account.
Here we go:
The “Make America Great Again” phase is over. In two new tweets late on Tuesday, Kanye said he realizes he's been "used to spread messages" he doesn't believe in. "My eyes are now wide open and now realize I’ve been used to spread messages I don’t believe in. I am distancing myself from politics and completely focusing on being creative!!!" he wrote.
What sparked this new Kanye?
He grew upset after right-wing commentator Candace Owens claimed he had supported a campaign encouraging black Americans to leave the Democratic party. Kanye says that's not true.
He then explained where he stood and didn't even mention Trump.
Let's see if it sticks.
