By now, you've heard a thing or two about the strained relationship between Meghan Markle and her half-sister, Samantha Markle. The latest? After threatening to show up at Kensington Palace, Samantha went ahead and did just that on October 8 — only to be reportedly turned away.
But alas, Meghan's family troubles aren't just relegated to a bit of tension between herself, her father, and her very vocal half-sister. Because if the Duchess of Sussex didn't have a nephew growing marijuana strains in her honor, that would just be too easy.
Here's the scoop: Tyler Dooley is the son of Meghan's estranged stepbrother, Thomas Markle Jr. The Oregon-based farmer has previously cashed in on his (kind-of) aunt's fame by growing a strain of marijuana that he named the Markle Sparkle for his company, Royally Grown. And now, he has a whole new gig he can chalk up to being (barely) related to a royal.
Dooley is set to appear in MTV International's upcoming show The Royal World. How much, exactly, does he know about said life? Well, he named Meghan as his favorite royal because she's the only one he knows, and was in London — though not at the Royal Wedding — when Meghan and Harry got hitched.
Meet Tyler, and get a sneak peek at the upcoming show, in the clip below:
