Prince William is not a regular dad — he's a cool dad. Just ask Prince George to tell you about that time his daddy demolished a builidng ... but in case you can't reach the wee royal, we'll fill you in.
On June 21, William attended the unveiling of a new rehabilitation center for servicemen and women who were injured in the line of duty. The Prince has a strong tie to those in service: remember, he was formerly a search and rescue pilot.
When he addressed the crowd at the event, William shared an anecdote about how his work with the rehab center has influenced his relationship with his son.
"I have been the Patron of the [Defense and National Rehabilitation Centre] for four years and I have enjoyed every single moment of it,” he said. “Along the way I have demolished a building — George was at an age at the time that he loved seeing the digger in action, so it did my street cred as a father a world of good.”
It looks like supporting this particular cause comes with feel-good benefits to spare.
