Travis Scott may be trying to work on his relationship with Kylie Jenner in the wake of rumors that she accused him of cheating. In fact, he canceled a concert and temporarily shut his Instagram account down after Kylie allegedly saw direct messages (DMs) that Travis exchanged with girls on the social media platform.
“The messages weren’t exactly appropriate,” a source told Us Weekly.
A representative for the rapper disputes the rumors totally.
“Travis Scott vehemently denies he cheated on Kylie," the rep said in a statement provided to the publication. "It is not true. He did not cheat.”
"He has been bending over backwards to prove his love and erase any doubts she has," another nameless source told E!. "For Travis to cancel a show and then delete his Instagram meant a lot to Kylie."
"Kylie has had a very difficult and emotional last few weeks... She just doesn't know who she can trust," the source continued, referring to her fallout with best friend Jordyn Woods over sister Khloe Kardashian's ex Tristan Thompson as well as rumors of fights with her rapper beau.
But would the rapper step out on his family when he could easily get caught, like Tristan did to Khloe? And has social media killed monogamy and ruined offline friendships? It's at least made it easier to look around for validation.
“If you are in an argument with your partner, momentarily questioning your relationship, drunk … you can get a boost by communicating with someone else,” celebrity dating and empowerment coach Laurel House told Personal Space.
