UPDATE (Sept. 14, 2018, 2:01pm) False alarm ... or is it? E! News is reporting that Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin did not get married as a source revealed "the couple was there to obtain paperwork. The type of paperwork was not specified." (If they did just pick up a marriage license application on Thursday for the first time, they must still wait 24 hours after submitting their paperwork before they can get married.) However, People is now reporting that "a religious source spoke to the family" and confirmed that they were in fact married on Thursday at the courthouse, revealing that “they went ahead and did it without listening to anyone ... They’re going to have a big blowout, in front of God and everyone they love.”

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin have been engaged and planning to get married, but they may have already secretly tied the knot this week. According to TMZ, the pop star and his model gal were spotted in New York City's Marriage Bureau, aka where people in the city go to get marriage licenses or get married. The publication overheard speculation that they may have actually gotten married there, too, and not just gotten the license, hearing Justin say, "Thanks for keeping it on the DL."
Will the couple have a big, public wedding, or did they just take care of it quietly? Only time will tell. In the meantime, one relative has gone public with advice.
“People who get married young — and they are very young — I want them to just spend time with each other,” Hailey's uncle Alec Baldwin told Canadian publication eTalk. “I hope [Hailey and Justin] realize that. If you want to have a successful marriage, you have to be together. You gotta stay together.”
