Here's What Some of Your Favorite Project Runway Contestants Are Up to Now

Eight former contestants share exciting updates on their design careers since we last saw them on Project Runway.

In Project Runway Redemption, a handful of talented Project Runway alumni get a shot at — you guessed it! — redemption. After unexpectedly exiting the show, the designers reconvene for a series of head-to-head competitions, in which Nina Garcia picks the winning look. Eight memorable Project Runway cast members compete, including: Delvin McCray, Afa Ah Loo, Tessa Clark, Frankie Lewis, Nancy Volpe-BeringerBishme Cromartie, Dayoung Kim, and Kovid Kapoor. The series offers fans an update on what the designers have been up to since their time on Project Runway, and the designers spill some major news!

One has a new baby while another one is doing a total rebrand after shuttering a store during the pandemic. Another Project Runway alum received an unexpected diagnosis that's changed their approach to design, while another contestant is growing their family-owned store.

Still another designer has been dressing Lizzo, and another contestant has endured fires and tornadoes, but is still working on an inclusive new fashion line. Another designer has a brand new collection that's getting a "really good response," while another one has pivoted from red-carpet designs to illustrations.

Check out the videos above to check in with all of the former contestants and see what they've been up to since their time on the show. And stay tuned: In the finale, which is coming up on October 7, the four finalists will duke it out for a chance to be named the winner of Project Runway Redemption.
