Christian Siriano Is Throwing a Socially Distant Outdoor Runway Show for NYFW
The Project Runway mentor teased his 37th collection with a dreamy invitation for his in-person event.
Christian Siriano has always tackled the fashion industry on his own terms. The Project Runway mentor made headlines this year when he halted production of his lavish, red carpet-ready gowns to make masks amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. And he has been well ahead of the curve when it comes to spotlighting diversity and inclusivity on the runway. So, to mark his staggering 37th collection during New York Fashion Week, Christian is planning an in-person, socially distant presentation to remember.
On September 14, Christian teased his Spring/Summer collection on his Instagram Stories, posting a serene, black and white photo of a sun-kissed landscape. The event will be held on Thursday, September 17 and though details are minimal, we know the collection is destined to be fierce.
Christian has dropped a few hints of his possible creations on his Stories including a quick clip that included canary yellow, tulle gowns with dangling, fully-bloomed florals and touches of painted red window pane prints.
We have officially mentally RSVP'd yes for the style spectacular.
