After 3 Boob Jobs, Lilly Ghalichi Shares Her Biggest Regret: "This Should Be a Crime"
The Shahs of Sunset alum has this overarching advice for people considering a breast augmentation: "don't do it."
Lilly Ghalichi's followers keep their eyes peeled on her feed for a daily dose of glamour. Whether she's showing off her latest lashes or unboxing just-released makeup and skincare goodies from top brands, the Shahs of Sunset alum positively oozes beauty savvy. Still, she's the first to admit that she's had to learn some beauty lessons the hard way — especially when it comes to breast augmentation.
At her fans' request, the soon-to-be mama recently put out a video in which she shared 10 little-known fun facts about herself. In addition to sharing her shoe size (a teeny tiny 4!) and the age at which she first went on a date (19!), the Shahs pal came clean about her past with boob jobs. Spoiler alert: She's had more than three of them, and she wouldn't recommend it!
"I don't know why I'm laughing, because it's not funny," she said, giggling in spite of herself. "Not only is it dangerous to keep going under surgery; it's extremely painful and freaking expensive. The reason I've had to have boob jobs is the following." Interested to hear more? We thought so!
Lilly went on to explain that she's repeatedly faced a complication called capsular contractur. "This is where your body builds scar tissue around the implant, causing it to become really hard, disfiguring it, and event moving it," she explained. "One time, I literally had a boob that was like all the way in my armpit; one time one of my boobs got hard and I would joke about it and call it Eden Rock."
Then, there were those good old "bad decisions," Lilly continued. "When I was younger I wanted big boobs, so I got these really, really large implants. I had over 500 CCs, which for my tiny frame is just way too large." What followed? Not one, but two reductions.
Overall, "it has just been a really traumatic experience for me," she admitted. "I got my first boob job when I was only a month into 18 years old; I think it should be a crime to do plastic surgery on anyone who's 18 years old. I didn't know anything when I was 18 years old, let alone whether I wanted to have surgery on my breasts."
Now 35, Lilly is — at least! — "extremely happy" with her breasts and complication free. But, heed this: "My advice to anyone thinking about getting augmentation: Don't do it!"
