Reza Farahan just revealed that he's getting new teeth, but it turns out his appointments with celebrity dentist Dr. Michael Apa will go way beyond just veneers. Reza showed off his temporary teeth while the new veneers are being made, but that's just the start. Dr. Apa just released a video documenting the Shahs of Sunset haircare entrepreneur's plan for his new smile, which will involved correcting some asymmetry with Reza's jaw.
According to Dr. Apa, Reza favors one side of his jaw, resulting in a slightly crooked smile. "This is the side that you function to, meaning that you grind your teeth to. And you can see that your lower jaw is overgrown on your lower jaw is overgrown on your lower right side," the dentist says in the video, pointing out that Reza's jaw muscle is larger on the right side.
"This is the side that you're grinding to every single night and it's like doing bicep curls with just your right arm," Dr. Apa explains. "So when I fix this, I"m going to bring this out and down. It's going to bring such symmetry to your face and make everything look perfect."
Apparently, Reza will get his final, perfectly symmetrical smile next week. Dr. Apa wrote on Instagram: "Tune in Monday to see the final smile inserted... live where anything can happen."
Reza also explained in a video how The Real Housewives of New York City's Ramona Singer's "amazing" new teeth influenced him to turn to Dr. Apa, along with Jersey Shore's Vinny Guadagnino's smile.
Reza looks stoked about his new teeth already: He's smiling big in this selfie.
