The Shahs of Sunset cast member, who is seven months pregnant, used the elaborate party as a way to share with friends and family that her soon-to-be born child will be a boy named Elijah. The baby's name was on full display on a plain white wall in gold lettering, just above a dessert table featuring the the multi-tier cake.

Anchored by a lattice-pattern base, the intricately-designed cake, which PEOPLE reports  was Moroccan-inspired, also kept with the party's royal blue and gold decor theme. The same color scheme was used on two of the tiers while the others featured vibrant red and gold coloring. The cake was a focal point throughout the party, as GG stood in front of the dessert table while speaking to her guests to reveal her exciting news.

GG previously shared her excitement for the lavish fete during an interview with The Daily Dish on February 24. "My baby shower is this coming weekend, actually, so I'm really nervous because I have so much going on," she said at the time. "And it's not like a typical baby shower with baby games or any goo-goo-ga-ga-type stuff. It's just an adult, coed, lit day party."

As she prepares to welcome her first child, GG added to PEOPLE that the event was a way to show her guests that she was "so proud" to start a family on her own. "You know, in the Persian community, it’s kind of unheard of to have a baby by yourself," she explained. "So this is an important celebration for me, because it’s a chance for me to show everyone that I’m not afraid of that taboo. I’m flaunting it, in fact.”
