Tamica Lee Shares the Powerful Reason She's Proud to Show Her Scars

When it comes to staying camera-ready for her job as a news anchor, Southern Charm New Orleans pal Tamica Lee has a few beauty products that she keeps on standby. But even though she loves getting glam with lush lashes and other products, the TV personality also celebrates her natural beauty — and isn't afraid to let her scars show.
In a powerful Instagram post from February 10, the New Orleans native posted a black-and-white photo of herself with her back to the camera. The image showed a faint scar on Tamica's left shoulder, and her caption explained the origin of the mark.
"Anniversary of LIFE! 7 years ago I had major spine & back surgery. A softball size tumor, collapsed lung, a heart artery situation, a removed nerve from my spine and 2 surgeries later....," she wrote: "I have THIS scar to show how good GOD is! (Not shown: the spine surgery scar on my neck, the chest tubes scars under my chest)."
Now we can see why she added a hashtag that spelled out: "loving my scars."
