Kathryn Dennis Reveals Plans to Buy Home and Host Christmas in Memory of Her Mother

It looks like Kathryn Dennis is getting back on her feet after a grueling year that included the death of her beloved mother, Allison. The Southern Charm mom recently revealed that she now has joint custody of her kids, Kensie and Saint, writing on Twitter, “I believe that this joint custody arrangement is in our children’s best interests. Happy to move forward.”

With the turmoil in her rear view mirror, Kathryn is now branching out in new directions that include potentially launching a fashion line in addition to her kids furniture line. And she recently shared the news that she is actively hunting for a new home. 

“I’m looking at buying a new house next year and really, like, buying one and staying there and having one home. And whenever that happens I want to host Christmas at my house because my mom always used to host it, so I’m carrying it on,” she revealed to the New York Post at BravoCon.

However Kathryn added that her search for a new property has not been easy as home prices in Charleston are through the roof. “It’s really hard to find something in Charleston that isn’t ridiculously expensive and still needs work, you know what I mean?” she said. “Because everything is so much older, and I love that aspect, but I’m also trying to save a buck.”
