Kathryn Dennis' Daughter Had the Most Colorful At-Home Birthday Party
The Southern Charm mom went all out for Kensie's 5th birthday.
Kathryn Calhoun Dennis' mini-me Kensie, who is one of the muses for Kathryn's new furniture line for children dubbed Kensie + Saint, just turned 5! To celebrate, the Southern Charm mom invited all of Kensie's friends (and some of her friends too — we spy you, Danni Baird!) over to her new home for a sweet birthday party.
The focal point of the party's decor was the gorgeous DIY Pinterest-inspired floral chandelier that Kathryn recently made. Comprised of greenery and blooms of every hue, the piece is bursting with color... and can we just say that we can't believe it's still alive?!
"So this is my first DIY project that I actually completed on Pinterest. It's a floral chandelier! Feeling super domestic," Kathryn shared on her Instagram Stories when she finished the piece last week.
With such a bold statement piece representing every color of the rainbow, Kathryn didn't have to do much else, other than fill the table with paint palettes plates topped with cupcakes and jars of treats (Rock candy lollipops! Goldfish!) to achieve a dreamy, homespun birthday party for Kensie.
Her dining table's lucite ghost chairs are super easy to wipe down, too — perfect, because we're guessing there were a lot of sticky fingers there.
