Madison LeCroy Shares a Strong Message After Getting Botox to "Fix" Her "Crooked Lip"
"Love yourself regardless, but if you want to fix it, fix it," the Southern Charm-er said after tweaking her pout.
In 2019, Madison LeCroy took to her Instagram Stories to address some beauty rumors that came her way. "Listen I want to announce this: Those of you who are asking about my crooked lip, I was born this way. No plastic surgery. No stroke or anything like that," she shared at the time. "So if you have something negative to say, keep it to yourself. Got it? Good."
Now, the Southern Charm cast member is speaking on the matter once more, this time sharing a few updates about her pout.
Madison LeCroy responds to comments about her "crooked lip"
On October 10, Madison hopped on social media to get personal in an Instagram Story video. "I wanna talk to y'all about something that's kind of a sore subject for me," she began. "There are a lot of people out there who made a lot of comments about me having a crooked lip, [asking] 'Did it come from plastic surgery?' [or] 'Where did it come from?' etc. I made a reel of my family. It's my dad, which is [who] I got the crooked lip from. I've had it since birth. You can also see in the video."
"This is something that has bothered me, especially being in the limelight a little bit," she continued. "Everything that you do, I feel like people expect you to be perfect, and we know that that's not possible. It was something that I felt like I constantly had to defend myself for because it wasn't plastic surgery. But I wanted to fix it."
Madison then went on to mention her followers who reached out with the "same thing," saying they were proud of her "embracing" the situation — but she had different feelings.
"I definitely wasn't embracing it for a long period of time," she revealed. "People can be very ugly and mean ...it hurts your feelings after a while because you're like, 'God, I was given this, and that's just the way it's gonna be."
Madison LeCroy got Botox to "fix" her "crooked lip"
Madison then cited the Charleston medical spa, Ella Ora, a place she's gone to for other beauty treatments before, as the spot where she decided to take on her concern.
"I talked to a dear friend of mine who owns Ella Ora and she put me with one of her doctors, Dr. Karen," the blonde beauty shared. "It was the first time in my life that someone had studied my face and realized that I just didn't have any nerve on this side of my face. All she did was put a dot of Botox right where my lip was heading down."
She added: "The point of this story is to say...love yourself regardless, but if it bothers you and you want to fix it — fix it. it's totally up to you."
The Charleston mom then noted that the Botox was only "temporary," further clarifying her plans for her lip in the future. "This isn't gonna be forever that my lip is gonna stay this way but [...] I'll probably get that little dash of Botox six to eight weeks to kind of maintain it. I'm really happy with it because this is the first time ever that my gumline hasn't caught wind and...it's kind of nice!"
