Olivia Flowers Shares New Details on Her Living Situation
The Southern Charm cast member is giving a glimpse at her new day-to-day life at home now that her parents have moved out.
Prior to the Season 9 premiere of Southern Charm, a press release that included Olivia Flowers’ cast bio gave an update on her living situation: “Her roommates, parents Robin and Gary, have moved out of their palatial waterfront pad, leaving Olivia to rule as lady of the manor.”
When Season 9 Episode 1 aired on September 14, viewers got a very real look at how Olivia is adapting to living without her parents.
When Olivia called her father, he picked up the phone saying, “Olivia, my favorite tenant.” However, she wasn’t feeling quite as chipper.
“Well, your tenant’s out here picking up dog poop,” said Olivia, who was walking around the outdoor space with a shovel. “I don’t know what to do with it. There’s so much of it! I thought yard people handle this.”
Although she’s now taking on all the housework, Olivia is excited about her new arrangement. During Madison LeCroy and Brett Randle’s “wedding after-party” celebration, she told Shep Rose, “[My parents are] moving to Houston, so I’m going to be king of the castle.”
With that in mind, Shep suggested more “house parties,” and Olivia enthusiastically agreed, exclaiming, “That’s what I’m saying!”
Details on Olivia Flowers’ House
As we already know, Olivia goes all out on her parties. Season 8 Episode 6 showed Olivia and her parents hosting a backyard bash at the Isle of Palms home. The event had gorgeous flowers, multiple bars, oysters, and more food, including shrimp cocktail, caprese skewers, low-country dips, and assorted desserts.
The outdoor space includes a built-in bar, a gorgeous dock, a pool, and a hot tub.
More recently, Olivia has been making the most out of having the stunning pool, as she showed in a September 2 Instagram Story photo. In the snap, Olivia lounged by the pool wearing a light green bikini top with matching bottoms and a white hat.
On Season 9 Episode 3 of Southern Charm, Olivia joked that she was "just the groundskeeper of the house." However, there are some home-related tasks she delegates to her neighbor Shep.
"My mom said, 'Well, I like having Shep right down the street. You can give him a call in case of emergency,'" Olivia shared in an interview. Although she joked that Shep might not be her first call in an emergency situation, he was very helpful in changing one of her lightbulbs.
