This Video of Patrica Altschul Feeding Her Dog Pimento Cheese Will Make Your Day
"Pugs love pimento cheese," said the Southern Charm grande dame, while offering up some video proof.
Patricia Altschul has entertained many prominent guests at her historic Charleston estate, and always loads her visitors with butler-made cocktails and delicious snacks. And as we now know, she extends the same luxury to her beloved dog, Chauncey. (Well, minus the cocktails.)
In a recent Instagram post, the grande dame of Southern Charm shared a video of herself feeding her pooch from a wicker basket filled with dips. "Pugs love pimento cheese," she announced, as Chauncey leapt up to nip a cheese-laden chip out of Patricia's hand. "It's like feeding alligators," quipped the videographer, whom we're guessing to be Michael the butler.
Though she revealed in her caption that she doesn't teach her dogs to sit, Patricia certainly does teach them about traditional Southern snacks. And why shouldn't she spoil her four-legged friend a bit? Not only is Chauncey her trusted companion, he's also the muse for one of her most iconic caftan designs.
