While Austen Kroll gears up to drop Trop Hop, a tropical fruit-infused IPA beer that will be the first release for his beverage company King's Calling Brewing Co., the Southern Charm-er has also focused on a new endeavor: He now has Charleston Brews Cruise to offer brewery tours of Charleston.
“I’m all about keeping it in the family — the beer family!" Austen told The Feast. "I saw Charleston Brews Cruise as a great business venture and opportunity for me to give back to the local community. The tour stops at local breweries, allowing visitors and residents alike to check out the best beers the city has to offer. Drinking with friends? Check! Laid-back vibe? Check! Plus, you don’t have to pedal! It’s a win-win for everyone, and who knows what Southern Charm-ers you might come across while on tour."
Charleston Brews Cruise offers two different tour options: a four-hour Day Drinking Bus Tour that stops at three different breweries, and a 2 hour-and-45 minute Happy Hour Bus Tour that stops at two breweries. Each tour includes 5-6 pours at each brewery as well as water and snacks.
